Yes, even Škoda Superb iV 1.4 TSI has Drive Booster from Vector Tuning

Each day technology takes a big step forward, so does the car and automotive industry.

In todays article I am going to present you a new car from Škoda which is Superb iV, a new plug-in hybrid which started to be available for sale in early days of this year, 2020. The purpose of hybrid cars is to combine engine with an electrical motor so it can offer eco friendly mobility.

Škoda Superb iV is equipped with a 1.4. TSI petrol engine which is 115 kW (156 PS), but also electric motor with 85 kW (156 PS). 160 kW (218 PS) is the maximum power output. Driving mode can be selected between 3 modes: Sport, E-mode and Hybrid mode. When in SPORT mode max power output of 160 kW (218 PS) and 400 Nm of torque can be reached with a 6-speed transmission. When in E-mode the car is powered by the battery and when in Hybrid mode electronics combine between petrol engine and electric motor. The capacity of the tank can hold 50L.

To resume, it eliminates throttle lag but increases pedal response but it will not change the torque of your car. We are not adding power but using the ones the engine already has.
