Model S cars built from October 2014 have a feature called Autopilot, an advanced driver assistance system that allows the car to operate without assistance from the driver. However, the driver must supervise continuously and take control if there is an issue.
Model S became the first electric car to top the monthly new-car-sales ranking in any country. P100D variant is the quickest production vehicle with a NHRA rolling start to 60 mph in Motor Trend tests with 2.28 seconds (acceleration clock started after 0.26 seconds at 5.9 mph) in ludicrous mode.
The P100D outputs 439 kW (589 hp) and 1,248 N⋅m torque on a dyno.
The Drive Booster Throttle Pedal Module intercepts the signal from the device. Signal is sent between the accelerator pedal and the engine. It takes the signal from the Throttle Pedal sent the signal, modifies it and send it to the engine and outputs a modified signal to the engine management. It's also known in some countries as windbooster, pedal box, pedal responder, idrive, electronic throttle controller, etc. Faster engine response, throttle delay elimination, better performance are some of the beneefits. Drive Booster Module eliminates throttle lag and increases the response of the throttle pedal, but does not change the torque output of your vehicle.
